I don’t know about you guys but the beginning of the year for me always means getting rid of the section of my closet that either doesn’t fit or doesn’t look quite right anymore. Aside from the traumatizing experience of cleaning out the old it also means that in comes the new. As I started my shopping to refill my wardrobe I found that geeking out is actually completely in! Here are a few of my favorite nerd-centric choices:

Who wouldn’t want to be Iron Man! Especially when it could be this amazing! Show the world you know your body is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Take your astronomical studies to another level.
I love shirts that use scientific “language” to create a saying. This shirt is creative, fun and relevant. Not to mention the amazing Star Wars implications!
Insert shameless plug here….but really is there anything better than SWAG from your favorite blog? Especially when it’s a soft, comfortable shirt.
(In the interest of pretty acceptable self promotion 😉 check out our newly opened store here!)
I just don’t know of a shirt that could not be made better with a pun, especially one so…punny!
Being a sucker for the little ones and their clothing. I could not resist this and either should you!! There is sure to be a birthday or baby shower soon enough.
An accessory for the fashionable intellectuals, this periodic table bowtie is presentable and fun, wrapped nicely and tied in a bow.
For the more formal occasions this tie will be a definite hit if slightly less colorful.
This classic symbol of “nerdiness” has become a beacon of individuality. Whether it’s a solid color, bright, neutral or patterned, suspenders are a great mix of class and being in class.
It doesn’t get any cooler than this for you engineers. Need a pair of lucky socks? These are it. They’ve taken the circuit to the socks.
Gentlemen, you can wear neck jewelry too! Wear the thing that makes up every thing, right around your neck. This atom necklace is not too much; just enough.
Who knew science could be so beautiful? Well, evidently someone did, and so the oxytocin necklace is born. Wear this hormone on the outside instead of the inside and have that bulky yet flattering neck piece you’ve been looking for.
Bet you can’t have just one! These DNA rings are not self-replicating, but they are worth having more of just to have the look! Sometimes it’s the little things that complete an outfit.
Further proof that it is time to work the periodic table into all wardrobe choices!
I hope these awesome STEM fashions will brighten up your closet and make the idea for cleanings out for the new year a bit more enjoyable!
